Negor2010.com has received reports that Comelec here have problems with three CF Cards coming from Tanjay, Ayungon and Jimalalud.
However, Comelec has not released any specific information as to what these problems are but has already reported this incident to their head office in Manila.
Consequently official results for the province will not be available Tuesday night as anticipated. Comelec has not given a specific date as to when election returns from all over the province will be consolidated and released to the public.
Four presidential bets have conceded in the presidential race. They are Teodoro, Villar, Gordon, and De Los Reyes. Meanwhile Joseph Estrada, who is currently 2nd in the Comelec official tally, has remained mum about the elections.
Senator Aquino continues to lead in the presidential race based on the latest official Comelec tally released around 12:50 am.
In the Vice presidential contest Jejomar Binay has mainatained his lead over Mar Roxas.
According to Comelec provincial supervisor Atty. Eddie Aba, results for local positions have been delayed due to transmission problems. Reports gathered from different precincts revealed that BEIs have been trying to transmit the results since 8pm to no avail.
Atty. Aba gave the instruction to transport the CF cards to the canvassing area located in the session hall inside the city hall.
However, PCOS machines were transported instead of just the CF cards. As of 1:30 they have arrived in the city hall escorted by the local PNP.
